The Chanticleers also are heading into their third exhibition to wrap up their preseason slate. Coastal Carolina defeated UNC Greensboro by a 2-1 score and fell to Clemson 3-1. The Chants are picked to win the Sun Belt conference, edging reigning champion Georgia State. Senior Tsiki Ntsabeleng is the Sun Belt Conference Preseason Offensive Player of the Year after leading the league with six goals and 18 points overall. Jeranimo Power joined Ntsabeleng with recognition, picking up Preseason All-Sun Belt honors. The Chants finished last season with a 10-6 overall record, averaging just under two goals per game.
