DURHAM, N.C. – The Duke men’s cross country teamed were picked seventh in the United States Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) preseason southeast regional cross country rankings today.
“The Duke men’s cross country team is looking forward to beginning the 2019 campaign this Friday night at the Elon Opener,” said head coach Norm Ogilvie. “We are glad to see the respect for our freshman recruiting class as that has moved us up the rankings. However, there is much work to be done and we plan on finishing much closer to the top of the southeast region when all is said and done in November.”
The Blue Devils join five other ACC schools in the top ten, including N.C. State (one), Virginia (two), Virginia Tech (four), Wake Forest (six) and North Carolina (nine).
