Malt beverages and unfortified wine may be consumed in designated tailgating locations by those fans of legal drinking age. Those that choose to consume alcohol must be able to present a valid driver’s license or photo ID to reflect their age upon request. Spirituous liquor, kegs, common containers and glass containers are not permitted in any location. No alcohol will be permitted in Kidd Brewer Stadium.
OFFICIAL TAILGATING POLICIES, INCLUDING INFORMATION REGARDING CONSUMPTION OF ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGES
ATMs are available on campus at the following locations: Trivette Hall, Plemmons Student Union and on Rivers Street across from the parking deck.
The concession stands located throughout Kidd Brewer Stadium offer a variety of options and menus for fans. No outside food or beverages are permitted.
The customer service booth is located inside the Echota West Gate entrance as you proceed up the walkway to the west concourse.
For information on special seating for our guests that have disabilities, please call the athletics ticket office at 828-262-2079. You can also visit the ticket office at the Holmes Center on non-gamedays or see a staff member in the ticket plaza at Kidd Brewer Stadium on gamedays.
If the stadium would need to be evacuated due to an emergency, instructions will be given over the public address system and event staff will assist fans to appropriate exits.
EXITING AFTER GAMES
Guests will leave the stadium via the main gates. No access to the track or field will be allowed until all players and staff have cleared to the locker room area. Also, no traffic will be allowed to access Stadium Drive from Rivers Street for 45 minutes after the conclusion of the game.

ISS 24/7 is the text messaging service available to guests at Kidd Brewer Stadium. Any guest may request assistance during events by sending a text message from their cell phone. By using the ISS 24/7 system, you will be able to report issues and concerns, and call for assistance in a fast, easy and convenient way.
1. Open a blank text message and address the message to 69050.
2. Type the word “CLASS” followed by a space and the issue and location.
3. When your text message is received, you receive an immediate response message stating, “Your message has been received by stadium personnel.”
4. If more info is needed, the Fan Assist operator will respond with additional questions.

FAMILY FUN ZONE
The Family Fun Zone is back for the 2014 season. Location and other details about this interactive, kid-friendly area are coming soon!
In the event that first aid care is needed, see the nearest police officer or event staff member. That person will then contact the proper personnel to ensure the quickest response to the situation. First aid rooms are located by Section 101 and 102 on the west side of stadium and under Section 218 on the east side.
Gates will open 2 hours prior to each game.
Gameday programs will be sold at the entrance gates on both the east and west sides of the stadium.
In the event of inclement weather, all guests will be advised that it is in their best interest to seek shelter. Emergency instructions will be delivered via the public address system and the message boards when possible.
If a child gets separated from his/her party, he/she should notify the nearest police officer or event staff member. If the child knows his/her seat location, attempts will be made to return the child to that location.
LOST & FOUND
During the game, you may check the customer service booth for lost items. After the game, all unclaimed items are turned over to the Appalachian State Police Department and you may contact them at 828-262-2150.
Merchandise stands are located on the east (Section 109) and west side (Section 101). Game day t-shirts will be available at the M-Prints booth on the west side (Section 104). Merchandise is also available online at shop.appstatesports.com.
Join the Appalachian cheerleaders, the Marching Mountaineers and fellow fans at the Duncan Hall tunnel early on game days. The football team will end its walk by passing The Rock in the ticket plaza as they head into the stadium to warm-up. Help usher and motivate the 2014 Mountaineer football team as they prepare to take on that day’s opponent.
Mountaineer Village will be located just outside of the West Gate for the 2014 season. Mountaineer fans, and families of all ages are encouraged to visit this fan-friendly and interactive area. Each game will feature events sponsored by our corporate partners. Yosef and his fellow cheerleaders will definitely be dropping by before each game to check out what Mountaineer Village has to offer.
All carried items and entrants are subject to search. All prohibited items will be discarded. Any unlawful items are subject to confiscation and the person in possession of such items is subject to arrest.
Prohibited items include:
Alcoholic beverages, explosives & firearms, coolers or containers, oversized bags, folding chairs, artificial noisemakers, food & beverages, pets (with the exception of service animals) and umbrellas.
There is no re-entry at any time to Kidd Brewer Stadium.
Kidd Brewer Stadium is a non-smoking facility and tobacco-free zone.
Campus lots that have been designated for tailgating will open for entry promptly at three a hours prior to kickoff on gamedays.

Help keep our campus beautiful by participating in “Clean Up After Yosef.” Trash bags are distributed as a service to Appalachian fans and guests. Please dispose of all trash in the provided bins and dumpsters located in all tailgate areas.

ZERO WASTE COMMITMENT
Appalachian State University is committed to providing a clean environment with a focus on sustainability. Attendants in all tailgate lots will provide green and black bags to tailgaters for their recycling and waste. Green bags are for recycling (plastic, glass, metal, clean paperboard) while black bags are for waste (soiled paper, food waste, snack packaging, styrofoam).
In addition, the Department of Athletics, Physical Plant and Office of Sustainability have partnered together to develop a zero waste stadium initiative. This year, 15 Zero Waste Zones will be located throughout the stadium to provide fans a place to recycle plastic, glass and metal. Zero waste attendants will be location at each zone to assists fans. All vendor products will be recyclable or compostable, condiments will be provided in bulk rather than individual packages and post-game cleanup crews will separate items for recycling and composting.
