PITTSBURGH - Freshman Abbey Stock (Town & Country, Mo./St. Joseph's) netted her team-leading fifth goal of the season in the 73rd minute to cut the Duquesne lead in half, but Saint Louis could not score the equalizer and fell 2-1 in an Atlantic 10 Conference match Friday night at Rooney Field.

Stock's goal was scored unassisted at 72:33. It gave her a team-leading 12 points.

Duquesne (3-9-1, 2-2-0 A-10) took a 1-0 lead in the 12th minute on Laura Tlumack's first goal of the season. The Dukes made it 2-0 in the 51st minute when Katie Rust, assisted by Brooke Nettuno, tallied her second marker of the year.

The Billikens (4-6-3, 2-1-1 A-10) outshot the Dukes 16-7, including 9-3 in the second half, and earned a 6-1 advantage in corner kicks.

Saint Louis concludes its road trip Sunday, Oct. 16, at St. Bonaventure. Game time is noon (CT).
