SWAC TV's next-to-last regular season stop of the season is in Houston Saturday for a basketball doubleheader between Alabama State and Texas Southern beginning at 2:00 p.m.

Alabama State's women are still among a group of eight teams still mathematically alive in the SWAC regular season race with a mad dash to the finish line next week. The Hornets will be fighting for position and seeding in one of the most even conference races the SWAC has ever seen.  Texas Southern is looking to protect its home court as it prepares for the SWAC Tournament.

The men's game is an important one between two teams that should challenge top seed Mississippi Valley State in Garland. Texas Southern is still the defending SWAC regular season champion, and Alabama State won last year's conference tournament.

The decision to move the basketball & football championships to Houston was a good move. Yes or No?
