COLLEGE STATION, Texas - No. 13 Texas A&M will look to enter the winning side of the ledger for the first time this season as they face off with the Liberty Flames of the Big South conference. The Aggies are coming off an unprecedented three-game stretch facing top-ten opponents to open the season.  Freshman Courtney Walker is leading the SEC in minutes per game at over 37 minutes, Walker is coming off career highs in several categories including points (20), rebounds(7) and free-throw (6/6).  Junior Kelsey Bone has grabbed a team leading 10 rebounds per game and leading the team in points at 12.7 per game.

The two teams  faced each other previously at Reed Arena in Texas A&M's 2011 National Championship season. Danielle Adams led the Aggies to the 81-49 victory with 20 points, Tyra White added 15 points and Karla Gilbert had 10 points off the bench.

The Flames enter the upcoming contest coming off a 68-63 win against Sacred Heart, three Liberty players scored in double figures, two of which recorded a double-double. Liberty outrebounded Sacred Heart 62-27 in the contest, including 26 offensive rebounds that led to 21 second chance points. The Flames are led by Senior Devon Brown with 13.7 points per game, Brown also averages 7.7 rebounds per game. On the season Liberty is out rebounding its opponents by over 23 rebounds per game.

The game will be a homecoming of sorts for four Liberty players that are from Texas.  The Flames have more players from Texas than any other single state, including Tolu Omotola from Dulles HS who was high school teammates with Kelsey Bone from 2005-2007.
