Andy Richardson is serving in his 20th season with the Texas A&M Athletic Department working in 12th Man Productions television production facility. His current duties include the game day production and presentation at many of Texas A&M's Athletic events as it relates to video boards including Kyle Field, Reed Arena, and Blue Bell Park as well as numerous other live screen events each season.
He has traveled with the Texas A&M Football team since 1990, serving as one of the staff videographers, assisting in the production of the Coaches TV Show as well as other video needs of the A&M football program.
An award-winning journalist in video news photography and editing, Richardson has worked at CBS and PBS network affiliates, been a freelance videographer for Super Bowl XXIX, XXX, and XXXI and also spent the summer of 1996 assisting the video operations for the NFL Europe's Barcelona Dragons.
His Concept for the 12th Man Production documentary recounting the 1999 Bonfire Tragedy and Football game days later, titled "The Burning Desire", earned numerous production awards including a Gold Remi from the Houston Film Festival.
Richardson is a 1987 graduate of Texas A&M with a bachelor¹s degree in Journalism. He is a native of Bryan, Texas (Bryan High '83) and is married to the former Casey Flinn. Casey is the Assistant Director of the Texas A&M Visitor's Center located at Rudder Tower. The couple have two daughters, Katelin and Mackenzie.
