Sarah Sturm, a nationally certified and state licensed athletic trainer, is in her first year of working with the Texas A&M Cross Country and Track and Field teams. Before coming to College Station, Sarah graduated from Baylor University with a Bachelor of Science in Athletic Training. While in Waco, she had the opportunity to work with the football, track and field, women's tennis, and women's basketball programs.
Sarah is a native of Pattison, Texas just west of Houston. Sports were her passion growing up. During high school, Sarah tore her ACL twice and had to have three knee surgeries as a result. These major injuries sparked her interest in athletic training. One of her favorite things about athletic training is watching the athletes improve and overcome injury.
Sturm is a member of the National Athletic Trainers Association, the Southwest Athletic Trainers Association, and the Texas State Athletic Trainers Association. She plans to earn her Master's degree in Sport Management from Texas A&M. During her free time, Sarah enjoys watching movies, being outside, and spending time with her friends and family.
