Erin Boyette
Athletic Trainer
Erin Boyette, a nationally certified and state licensed athletic trainer, joined the Texas A&M sports medicine staff in July 2012. She serves as the athletic trainer for both the Aggie volleyball and women’s golf teams and also oversees the athletic training intern for women’s tennis.

Born and raised in Baton Rouge, La., Boyette was an all-state selection in both volleyball and softball at Parkview Baptist School in Baton Rouge and helped lead the Eagles to at least one state championship title each sport.

Boyette went on to attend LSU, where she served as an athletic training student for the 2007 national championship football team and the men’s tennis team while pursuing a bachelor’s of science degree in kinesiology. In addition, she worked as an athletic training student at University High School, serving 11 of the men’s and women’s athletic teams, and spent time as an assistant volleyball coach at PBS.

Boyette, who created and served as editor of LSU’s athletic training website and monthly newsletter, was involved in numerous student organizations and activities relating to her major during her undergraduate years and served two stints as president of Alpha Tau Sigma, LSU’s athletic training organization. She organized a variety of campus and community service events, including food drives and training symposiums, as well as athletic training camps for middle school and high school students. A Louisiana High School Athletic Association (LHSAA) certified official, Boyette also refereed volleyball matches and coached the Bayou Bandits 18-and-under club elite volleyball team.

Boyette was repeatedly recognized for her hard work, dedication and passion for the field of athletic training and was the recipient of an array of prestigious awards and scholarships, including the Doc Broussard Athletic Training Student of the Year, which earned her a $15,000 scholarship.

The honor student graduated cum laude in 2010, and she immediately began pursuit of a master’s of science degree in kinesiology with a concentration in pedagogy and psychological sciences at LSU. She remained on the LSU sports medicine staff as a graduate assistant athletic trainer and was responsible for the prevention, care, evaluation and rehabilitation of injuries for both the Tiger volleyball and football teams.

Boyette, who received her master’s degree from LSU in 2012 and also became a certified performance enhancement specialist through the National Academy of Sport Medicine, enjoys traveling and all kinds of adventures. She also enjoys working out during her spare time and is currently training for a half marathon.

In June 2014, the former Erin Greenwich married Texas A&M football athletic trainer and LSU graduate Dalis Boyette in St. Thomas.
