Justin Slaton joined the Texas A&M Athletic Department in July of 2012 as the Assistant Director of Marketing and Social Media, where his primary responsibilities are coordinating the marketing and advertising for the Aggie men's basketball and baseball programs as well as marketing oversight of the golf, volleyball and swimming and diving programs.
Prior to moving to College Station, Slaton spent two years at Florida State, where he was over the Seminole Baseball and Volleyball programs. In 2011, the FSU Volleyball team made its first ever appearance in the NCAA Final Four and in 2012, the Seminole Baseball team made its 21st appearance in the Men's College World Series in Omaha.
Slaton graduated in 2010 from The University of Alabama with a Bachelor of Arts in Public Relations. While in Tuscaloosa, he was a marketing intern in the Athletic Marketing office working with the Crimson Tide Football, Baseball, Men's and Women's Basketball, Gymnastics and Volleyball programs from 2006-2010.
In addition, Slaton has also been a member of the Game Operations staff for the Senior Bowl in Mobile, Alabama, since 2008 and has worked with the Nick's Kids Foundation, which is Nick and Terry Saban's charity foundation. He is an avid, life-long fan of the New York Yankees and enjoys traveling to New York City whenever possible.
