 Lee Hood

Lee is a Learning Specialist for the Center for Student Athlete Services. She works with student-athletes from all sports, including football, and specializes in helping new students develop study strategies and test taking skills. Lee is also responsible for providing entry-level assessments for freshmen to determine strengths and weaknesses in the areas of reading and vocabulary. Additionally, she works as an advocate to support students who may need testing accommodations in order to work to their highest potential.

Lee comes to Texas A&M Athletics with thirty years public school teaching experience in Texas and New Mexico. While teaching in the public schools, Lee worked part-time as a Learning Assistant at CSAS for five years before taking the position of Learning Specialist.

Lee is married to Mike Hood and they have two children, Jonathon and Katie.
