 Mindy Phillips

Mindy is in her seventh year as athletic academic supervisor at Texas A&M where she works with the baseball, softball, and volleyball teams.

After working as a learning assistant and athletic assistant at A&M, Mindy worked as an academic advisor for the football and women's basketball teams at Baylor University prior to returning to A&M.

A graduate of Texas A&M University in 2005 with a bachelor's degree in Recreation, Park, and Tourism Sciences, Mindy also earned her master's degree in Higher Education Administration from A&M in 2007. She was a four-year letterwinner in basketball, as she competed for the Aggies from 2001-2005. A three-time All-Big 12 Academic selection, her senior season, Mindy helped her team make it to post season play for the first time in nine years.

A native of San Marcos, Texas, Mindy is married to Ryan Phillips, A&M Class of ’03. The couple have one son, Landon, born in December of 2012. Mindy is a member of the National Association of Academic Advisors for Athletics.
