GREENVILLE, N.C. - Sophomore Caroline Lovette and Tracy Martin tied for 44th as the Richmond women's golf team finished 14th at the Lady Pirate Invitational, played Monday and Tuesday at Greenville Country Club.

The Spiders shot a 308 in the first round and 311s in the final two rounds for a 930.

Martin and Lovette tied for 44th at 231. Martin followed an 81 in the first round with a 3-over 74 in the second round and 76 in the final round. Lovette shot a 4-over 75 in the first round, followed by a pair of 78s.

Senior Christina Gray tied for 66th at 236 (76-79-81), while sophomore Grace Kingdom tied for 73rd at 239. Freshman Lauren Conder finished 80th at 249 (76-84-83).

The Spiders return to action Oct. 25-26 at the Palmetto Intercollegiate at Kiawah Island, S.C., before closing the fall season hosting the Spider Invitational Nov. 1-2 at Independence Golf Club in Midlothian, Va.
