"Five Questions" With Bentley Mancini
Junior outside hitter Bentley Mancini stepped into the "Five Questions" zone on Thursday as the Bulldogs prepare for their annual "Dig Pink" match this weekend.
Mancini (Burnsville, Minn./Apple Valley) has emerged as Drake's top attacker over the last five matches, averaging a team-best 2.37 kills per set over that span. Head coach Tony Sunga credits her consistent approach:
"She's the steady hitter that everyone trusts," Sunga said following Drake's 3-1 victory over Bradley last Saturday. "No matter how everyone else is doing, they trust that she'll do her job. The team believes in her. She's that lifeblood that we need."
Mancini talks about her most memorable kills, "Dig Pink" and how she's preparing for this weekend.
