Women's Golf Honored For Team GPA by WGCA

CORAL SPRINGS, Fla. – The Creighton women’s golf team has been recognized by the Women's Golf Coaches Association for having one of the best GPA's in the nation. Creighton's team ranked fifth in the rankings with an average GPA of 3.787.

UTEP took top honors with an average GPA of 3.840.

Earlier in July, Creighton's Annie Pearson, Katie Morel, Kelsey Petersen and Mary Cathryn Rau were among 664 collegiate golfers recognized by the Women's Golf Coaches Association as All-American Scholars.

The Bluejays, who placed fifth at the BIG EAST Championships in April, are coached by Debbie Conry.

The WGCA announced the top 25 teams with the highest Team GPA. They are as follows:

About the Women’s Golf Coaches Association
The Women’s Golf Coaches Association, founded in 1983, is a non-profit organization representing women’s collegiate golf coaches.
