Going into his senior year, Peter has not only established himself as our top man in hit percentage on the pommel horse but he has also worked his way up to the number two position in our all-time records on that challenging event…Our gymnastics team’s scholar-athlete tradition is in good hands under Peter’s leadership as he continues to excel both in the gymnastics arena and in the classroom as evidenced by his being recognized for three straight years as a Collegiate Gymnastics Association first team All-American Scholar-Athlete as well as a W&M Provost Award recipient…Last season Peter just missed winning the gold medal by .05 of a point at the ECAC Championships while once again receiving All-Conference honors on the pommel horse with his silver medal finish...This season our rings squad was severely depleted by the graduation of three of our all-time best ring men from last year’s record breaking team ... To help fill the void, Peter continues his tradition of always being there to pick up the slack when needed and has developed remarkably on this event…Peter’s knack for performing his best when the pressure is on has served him well over the years and will likely place him in the hunt to earn All-American accolades this season…Prior to coming to W&M, he competed for Queen City Gymnastics where he was coached by Keith Pettit, Norm Stulz, and Sean Sawyer…Peter will graduate as a business-finance major with a concentration in entrepreneurship and a minor in creative writing. He is the son of Kirk and Judy Ten Eyck.
