South Dakota State women's soccer sophomore Stephanie Krzywania secured an invitation to attend mini-camp with the under-19 (U19) Poland national soccer team...

Mini-camp is set for Aug. 2-5 in Warsaw, Poland.

If Krzywania makes the team, she secures an invitation to take part in the U19 World Cup qualifying matches to take place in Hungary in October.

Krzywania, whose hometown is listed as Markham, Ontario, Canada, has dual citizenship as both of her parents are Polish and emigrated to Canada.

"This is a great honor for Stephanie and we could not be more proud of her," head coach Lang Wedemeyer said. "She had a great spring season and has been training hard over the summer, so I am sure she will be prepared to show her best at camp. It is a very exciting time for her and the team when one of your own has a chance to represent her national team."

Krzywania played in 10 games for the Jacks last season with three shot attempts, two on goal.
