MUNCIE, Ind. - Ball State senior forward Jarrod Jones (Michigan City, Ind./Michigan City) was named Second Team All-Mid-American Conference while freshman forward Aaron Adeoye (Marion, Ill./Marion) was named to the MAC All-Freshman Team, the league office announced Wednesday. The league's 12 head coaches voted on both the All-MAC and All-Freshman teams.

Jones earns the fourth straight All-MAC honor of his career and becomes the second player in BSU history to pick up All-MAC accolades four times joining Ray McCallum. He earned Honorable Mention All-MAC in his freshman and sophomore seasons, while being named First Team All-MAC last year as a junior.

Jones led the Cardinals in scoring and rebounding for the fourth straight season as he was sixth in the MAC at 14.7 points per game and second in the league at 8.7 rebounds per game. He scored in double figures 22 times this season, including 10 times of 20 or more points. He was named the MAC West Player of the Week four times while recording eight double-doubles.

Jones finishes his Ball State career sixth all-time in scoring with 1,623 points, third all-time in rebounds with 981, third all-time in games played with 123 and first all-time in games started with 121. He also posted 87 double figure point games and 29 career double-doubles.

Adeoye becomes the 14th player all-time in Ball State history to earn a spot on the MAC All-Freshman team and marks the fifth straight year a Cardinal has been honored (Chris Bond, Jauwan Scaife, Jarrod Jones & Melvin Goins).

Adeoye played in all 30 games for the Cardinals with eight starts on the year as he averaged 3.5 points and 4.2 rebounds per game. He stepped up his play in league action averaging 4.0 points and 4.6 rebounds per game. He led all MAC freshmen in rebounding in league play while also shooting 52.2 percent (24-of-46) from the field.
