BAKERSFIELD, Calif.-CSU Bakersfield continues its home-stand Tuesday night when CSUB (3-16) hosts Nevada (3-11) at 4:30 p.m. as part of a doubleheader with the Roadrunner men's squad. The CSUB men play NJIT at 7 p.m.

This is the first meeting between CSUB and Nevada in women's basketball. Kate Kevorken leads the Wolfpack with a 17.1 points per game average. She is second on the squad in rebounding at 6.2 rpg. Kayla Williams leads Nevada in rebounding (7.8) and is second in scoring (12.1).

San Diego State defeated CSU Bakersfield a 74-60 women's basketball defeat Saturday afternoon in the Icardo Center Chelsea Hopkins led four San Diego State players in double figures with 21 points. Hopkins also posted a game high eight assists and a team high six rebounds. Lauren Carter (R-Jr., Moorpark, Calif., Moorpark HS) paced the Roadrunners with 21 points and eight rebounds. Ciarra Ford (Jr., Long Beach, Calif, Mt. Sac College) scored 16 points. Kristine Herman (R-Sr., San Ramon, Calif., Florida Gulf Coast) scored 13 points and charted six rebounds.

The Aztecs held the Roadrunners to 31% shooting (9-of-29) in the first half and 35.6% shooting (21-of-59) for the game. San Diego State shot 50% for the game (28-of-56). The Aztecs outrebounded CSUB 45-26, but turned the ball over nine more times (20-11).
