The 2011 Southland Conference
Outdoor Freshman of the Year peeled off a wind-aided 13.81 en route to a
second-place finish in his specialty event. The Tyler native, who now
stands in a 14th-place tie on the national leaderboard, finished just

The Roadrunners will be back in action at several meets this weekend. The distance crew will compete at the Cal State L.A. Twilight (Thursday), Mt. SAC Relays (Thursday-Saturday) and Long Beach Invitational (Friday), while the remainder of the team will return to Austin for Saturday's Longhorn Invitational.
