Cullowhee, N.C. – Friday’s game two of the Southern Conference baseball series between Western Carolina and Furman has been postponed due to heavy rains and unplayable field conditions at Childress Field / Hennon Stadium.

The series is slated to resume 2:00 pm on Saturday afternoon in Cullowhee, weather permitting, with the hopes of playing a doubleheader. Live stats of each game played will be available online at, in addition to links to the Furman audio broadcast.
