The Charlotte 49ers will dedicate the Halton-Wagner Tennis Complex, Friday, April 27 in a 3 p.m. ceremony.  The recently-completed 12,477-square foot facility will house both the men's and women's tennis programs.  Included in the complex are coach's offices, a conference room, a player/team lounge and the men's and women's team locker rooms.

The facility sits at the corner of Cameron Blvd. and Phillips Road and includes stadium-style seating for 246 which overlooks the 49ers 12 outdoor tennis courts.  A pair of scoreboards with wireless scoring capabilities stands opposite the field house complex.

The facility is named in honor of Dale Halton and Fred Wagner and their generous support of the 49ers tennis program.

Statues of both a men's and women's tennis player, donated by longtime supporters Irwin and Carol Belk, adorn the entrance that leads to a breezeway into the stadium.
