Freshman Annie Woehling was named the Ivy League Defensive Player of the Week and freshman Erin McMunn was named the womenslax.com Rookie of the Week for the week ending April 22.
The pair helped Princeton knock off No. 8 Dartmouth on Saturday, 12-9 to keep its Ivy League Tournament bid hopes alive.
Woehling made nine saves to earn her second win over a top-10 team this season. She gave Dartmouth its third loss of the season and first in the Ivy League. Woehling made some huge saves in the game and finished with nine total. Three of those saves were made on shots by Dartmouth's leading goal scorer Sarah Plumb, who was held to just one goal on the afternoon. Dartmouth entered the game averaging 11.33 goals per game.
McMunn had a five-point effort with a hat trick and two assists. She scored the final two goals of the first half to give the Tigers the lead, 7-5 at halftime. McMunn tallied her third goal midway through the second giving Princeton a 10-6 lead.
Princeton hosts Penn in the Ivy League season finale on Wednesday, April 25 at 7 p.m., at Sherrerd Field at Class of 1952 Stadium.
