Hoppenot Scores & Acquires PK Opportunity in 4-0 Win

Antoine Hoppenot scored the fourth goal and helped set up the third goal as the Philadelphia Union defeated Sporting KC, 4-0, on Saturday night at PPL Park.

Hoppenot drew a foul in the box in the 81st minute and teammate Lionard Pajoy scored on the ensuing penalty kick. Hoppenot scored his own goal in the 87th minute when he got the ball behind the KC back line and lofted the ball over the netminder.

Soccer By Ives named Hoppenot the MLS Rookie of the Week on Monday, June 25 for his play against KC.
