RIVERSIDE --- California Baptist University Head Cross Country and Track Coach Ben Gall is a little more than a month away from his first cross country season at CBU and now he has his first men's recruiting class complete.

Gall has secured nine runners, including two junior college transfers and a trio of runners from the Inland Empire that hope to help the Lancers defend their Pacific West Conference Cross Country title.

"This class is very strong and will add an immense amount of depth to our returning group as we look to defend the PacWest title this fall," said Gall. "We believe this group will help move our team toward our ultimate goal of being one of the top NCAA Division II teams in the country. They bring a great amount of successful championship experience that will help them to make an immediate impact on our program. They are excited to be at CBU and to experience all that God has in store for them during their time here as student athletes."
