CHARLOTTE, N.C. - For the second time in three weeks, VMI's Dallas Disbro has been named the CCSA Men's Diver of the Week, as announced by the conference Thursday.

Disbro posted a score of 290.20 in the 1-meter diving event Saturday against Howard, helping the Keydets go to 5-0 in dual meets to open the year. The score also broke a 19-year-old school record, and was less than 10 points shy of the NCAA qualifying mark of 300.00.

The CCSA award is VMI's fourth weekly honor out of eight possible (four swimming, four diving) laurels so far this season, and sets a new season high for the Keydet program since joining the CCSA in 2007-08. The Keydets have also taken three of the four diving weekly awards thus far, with Disbro winning two and Mitch Sikes the other, and VMI and Davidson have won all eight of the CCSA weekly honors thus far.
