Catch Heath on TV Thursday Night

By TOM ZEBOLD

USF Senior Writer

TAMPA - USF fans have a chance to watch Stan Heath and other big-name college basketball coaches talk about the hottest topics in the game Thursday night.

Heath is part of a roundtable discussion that's one of four 30-minute segments of the annual Katz Korner, hosted by ESPN.com senior college basketball writer Andy Katz. Heath's segment airs 11:30 p.m. (ET) Thursday on ESPNU and he'll be joined by Louisville's Rick Pitino, Illinois State's Dan Muller, Southern Miss' Donnie Tyndall, Marquette's Buzz Williams and Maryland's Mark Turgeon.

Other notable names that will be a part of other segments include Kentucky's John Calipari, Kansas' Bill Self, Florida's Billy Donovan, Michigan State's Tom Izzo and Villanova's Jay Wright. Katz Korner was taped at the ESPN Wide World of Sports at Walt Disney World.

Heath guided the USF men to the program's best-ever finish last season when the Bulls came within one victory of reaching the Sweet 16. Heath was named the Big East's coach of the year and led USF to a 22-14 record.
