The No. 21 University of Oregon women’s golf team was rewarded Monday night with its fifth straight postseason bid and 17th overall in school history. The Ducks earned the seventh seed out of the 24-team field, as well as six individuals.

The Ducks will compete in a three-day, three-round NCAA Central Regional, Thursday-Saturday, May 10-12 at the Ohio State Scarlet Course in Columbus, Ohio. Players will start teeing off at the par-72 course on holes 1 and 10 each day, with tee times TBA. Two other regional’s will be hosted by Penn State and Colorado at the Penn State Blue Course and Colorado National Golf Club, respectively.

The top eight teams and the two individuals with the lowest scores, not from those teams from each regional will advance to the NCAA Championships. This year’s NCAA Championship finals will be held May 22-25 at the Vanderbilt Legends Club in Franklin, Tennessee and will be hosted by Vanderbilt University, Nashville.

UO is the 7th-highest seeded team in the 24-team Central Region field and each squad’s Golfstat rankings follow: Southern California (3), Auburn (4), Vanderbilt (10), Tennessee (15), Ohio State (16), Oregon (21), North Carolina State (22), Florida State (29), Purdue (34), Arkansas (35), Mississippi (39), Kentucky (41), Texas State (46), South Florida (47), Notre Dame (50), UTSA (52), East Carolina (57), Michigan (61), Georgia (79), Harvard (97), Butler (151), Siena (204), UNC Wilmington (N/A), Virginia (N/A).

Six individuals were also selected to the Central Regional field – Madeleine Shiels of Nebraska, Alex Buelow of Stetson, Rika Park of Miami (Fla.), Brittany Henderson of Coastal Carolina, Leticia Ras-Anderica of Miami (Fla.), Gabriella Wahl of East Tennessee State.
