Why did you choose Duke? I chose Duke, because it is the perfect fit for me. Duke has what I am looking for in field hockey and in academics. I also love the big sports feel while still having such a small community.
To be able to say that I am a member of the Duke Field Hockey Team is... AMAZING. I have the chance to play with and against the best field hockey players in the country, and I can't wait to get better every day practicing and playing with the team.
What is your Most Memorable field hockey moment? When I ran to get my high school teammate who had a torn ACL from the sideline and piggy backed her to the middle of the field where our team was celebrating after we won the state championship game for the second year in a row.
Significance of your jersey number? I had a soccer teammate from my club team pass away in 2011. Her number was 7, and I wanted to take that number on and continue what she wasn't able to. It is such an honor to be wearing her number and it causes me to play with as much heart and passion as possible.

What one thing has had the most impact on your life: My decision to switch from soccer to field hockey has changed my life completely. I wouldn't be on my way to Duke in the fall!
Plans after college and beyond: I would love to be a doctor and possibly work with student-athletes.
Most memorable event that has ever happened to you? There are so many to choose from. However, I think that the most memorable time for me was when I made my decision of where I was going to school. I was driving home, pulled to the side of the road, and decided that it was time to make my decision. So, I called Coach Bustin right away and told her that I had decided to go to Duke. I was going crazy in my car!
