Fee, Team USA Conclude Series Against Canada Friday

LANCASTER, Pa. – Former Blue Devil Stefanie Fee and the U.S. women’s national field hockey team are set to face Team Canada Friday evening in the finale of a capped four-game series between the two squads at Spooky Nook Sports’ Dome Arena.

Team USA, currently listed 10th in the International Hockey Federation’s women’s world rankings, has gone 3-0 against the 23rd-ranked Canadian national squad this week. The U.S. began the series with a 7-0 victory Monday, March 10 and turned in a 4-0 win Tuesday, March 11 before downing the Canadians by a 4-1 score Thursday, March 13 in Lancaster.

The four-game series marks one of the final steps in Team USA’s preparations for the 2014 Women’s Hockey Champions Challenge I next month in Glasgow, Scotland and the 2014 Women’s Hockey World Cup, which is slated for May 31-June 14 in The Hague, Netherlands.
