Georgetown, playing for the second time in four days, is 3-4 overall after falling to No. 9 Loyola 13-8 Wednesday night ... The Hoyas own wins over Navy, Providence and Dartmouth, two of which came by one goal ... Reilly O’Connor leads all Hoyas with 12 goals and 12 assists for 24 points, while Jeff Fountain and Brian Casey have 18 and 16 points, respectively ... Tyler Knarr is 77-of-120 at the faceoff X and has a team-best 50 ground balls ... Knarr is also tied for the team lead in caused turnovers with seven ... In goal, Jake Haley and Alex Joyce have both seen quality minutes ... Haley has five starts with a 10.40 goals against average and a .490 save percentage ... In two starts, Joyce has a 9.30 goals against average and a .500 save percentage ... Georgetown is 0-2 on the road this season.

Georgetown first year head coach Kevin Warne will be going up against his mentor in head coach John Danowski ... Warne, a 2000 graduate of Hofstra, played for Danowski for four seasons and earned All-America East honors twice and honorable mention All-America recognition as a senior ... D Story Behind the Streak
Duke, a winner of four straight, has clamped down defensively during the streak. The Blue Devils are allowing just 7.75 goals per game in the stretch, compared to 11.50 in the first six outings. Duke has allowed 10-plus goals only once in the past four outings. Junior Brendan Fowler has upped his game even more, winning 65 percent of his faceoffs after sporting a .597 win percentage in his first six games. He also has 41 ground balls in that span to bring his total to 102 for the season. Duke’s defense is holding opponents to just .237 shot percentage during the win streak, an improvement over a .327 shot percentage in the opening six games.

Against Unranked Opponents
Since 2005, Duke is 46-3 against unranked opponents ... The Blue Devils’ losses to unranked foes all came against Ivy League schools ... The first was a 9-6 setback against Harvard, Feb. 22, 2009 and the most recent were a 7-3 loss to Pennsylvania, Feb. 26, 2011 and a 14-9 setback to the Quakers this season.

Danowski Earns 100th Duke Win
Danowski picked up his 100th win at Duke with a 12-4 triumph over Towson ... Since 2007, the longtime coach has amassed a 101-28 record, making him just the fourth coach in Division I men’s lacrosse to win 100-plus games at two programs ... He captured 192 wins at Hofstra prior to coming to Durham ... Virginia’s Dom Starsia is the only other active coach to have won at least 100 games at two different schools.

Wolf Climbing Career Points List
Wolf’s 41 points this season have pushed him to 19th on the Duke career scoring chart with 157 points ... He is 41 points out of the top 10 ... In 50 career games, he has amassed 157 career points from 88 goals and 69 assists ... He tallied 51 points in his rookie season and had 65 points his sophomore campaign.

Turri Between the Pipes
Since moving into the starting lineup in goal, sophomore Kyle Turri has been outstanding ... Taking over for an injured Dan Wigrizer, Turri is 4-0 and averaging 10 saves per game and owns a 7.87 goals against average and a .563 save percentage ... He made a career-high 15 saves in the 12-4 win over Towson to help him earn his first ACC Defensive Player of the Week honor.

Offit Providing Offense
Senior captain Josh Offit has been outstanding this season for the Blue Devils with 14 goals and two assists for 16 points ... His 14 tallies are three more than his total of 11 in 20 games last season, while the 16 points are one shy of matching his 2012 total ... In Duke’s wins over Loyola and North Carolina, the Bethesda, Md., native has a pair of crucial fourth-quarter goals to help Duke earn the upsets ... Overall this season, eight of his 14 goals have come in the second half and four of those have been in the final 10 minutes of the game ... Offit has six games with two goals this season after compiling 10 multiple-goal games over the previous three seasons. 

Walsh Nearing Century Mark
Junior Christian Walsh is one points shy of becoming the 40th Blue Devil in program history to reach the 100 career points mark ... With 64 goals and 35 assists, Walsh will join Jordan Wolf as current players on the Duke list.
