DURHAM, N.C. -- Jabari Parker was named the Ronald McDonald House Charities Duke Student-Athlete of the Week Wednesday after leading the Blue Devils to a 69-67 win over Maryland this past Saturday. Parker scored a game-high 23 points and added eight rebounds, one assist, two blocks and a steal in the win over the Terrapins. The Chicago native knocked down a pair of 3-point field goals and went 9-of-10 from the free throw line as Duke overcame a late three-point deficit to earn its 20th win of the season.
Parker and the Blue Devils (21-5, 10-3 ACC) face North Carolina this Thursday at 9 p.m. in Chapel Hill, N.C. and return to Cameron Indoor Stadium Saturday for a rematch against No. 1 Syracuse at 7 p.m.
