“First and foremost, congratulations to all of the students graduating Duke University this weekend,” Duke head coach David Cutcliffe said.  “Within our program, we have a set of standards and earning a degree is certainly at the top of the list.  We are proud of these young men for today’s achievement.”

Receiving undergraduate degrees were Will Boeckman (economics), Brandon Braxton (cultural anthropology & theater), C.J. France (sociology), Steven Ingram (philosophy), Dezmond Johnson (cultural anthropology), Garrett Rider (sociology), Spencer Rogers (computer science), Perry Simmons (civil engineering), Quan Stevenson (interdepartmental major: computer science and visual arts), Juwan Thompson (sociology) and Brandon Watkins (computer science).

The three former players earning graduate degrees were John Coleman (humanities), Dave Harding (political science) and Sydney Sarmiento (Christian studies).

All 14 players were members of Duke’s 2013 squad that won a school record 10 games, captured the ACC’s Coastal Division Championship and appeared in the 46th annual Chick-fil-A Bowl against Texas A&M.
