Duke vs. Navy Game Notes
• Duke hosts Navy on Saturday as the Blue Devils play their fourth and final non-conference game of the season ... Kickoff is set for 12:30 p.m. ... The game will be broadcast live by the ACC Network with Steve Martin (play-by-play), Dave Archer (analyst) and Rachel Baribeau (sideline) calling the action  

• Coming off an open date, the Blue Devils stand at 3-2 overall after defeating Troy, 38-31, on September 28 ... Duke will close the regular season with six consecutive ACC contests ... The Mids are 3-1 after upending Air Force, 27-10, at home this past Saturday

• Saturday’s game will mark the 40th on the gridiron between the two schools ... Navy leads the all-time series, 20-14-5 ... Duke has won the last two meetings ... The series began in 1927 with a 32-6 victory by the Mids
• On Friday, the Duke Athletics Hall of Fame will induct seven new members: Matt Andresen (fencing), Wes Chesson (football), Julie Exum Breuer (tennis), Jay Heaps (soccer), John Rennie (coach), Dr. Georgia Schweitzer Beasley (basketball) and Jason Williams (basketball) ... The group will be recognized at halftime of Saturday’s football game

• The official game sponsor of this week’s matchup is Dillon ... Duke will also celebrate Military Appreciation Day, Hometown Heroes & Iron Dukes Day against the Midshipmen

• Following Duke’s 38-31 triumph over Troy, two Blue Devils — S Jeremy Cash & WR Jamison Crowder — earned ACC Player of the Week honors ... Cash carded 14 tackles, 2.5 TFL & the win-clinching interception on the game’s final snap ... Crowder had seven receptions for 149 yards including a 60-yard touchdown catch
• Duke QB Brandon Connette continues his push within the school record book ... With 23 career rushing TDs, Connette ranks third on the school’s all-time list trailing only Tom Davis (28) and Jay Calabrese (24) ... Connette is one of just four players in Duke football history to rush for 6+ TDs in three seasons, joining Davis (1941-42-44), Chris Douglas (2000-01-03) & Steve Jones (1970-71-72)

• A season ago, Duke enjoyed the friendly confines of Wallace Wade Stadium, where the Blue Devils matched the school single-season record for home victories with five ... The school standard of five home wins in a single campaign is shared by the teams of 1930, 1932, 1933, 1943, 1974, 1989, 1994 & 2012
