DURHAM, N.C. -- With his sixth Duke team taking shape, head coach David Cutcliffe will utilize spring practice to evaluate the program in its entire, focusing on “players, not plays.”

The Blue Devils return 46 lettermen off of last year’s 6-7 squad that played in the Belk Bowl – Duke’s first postseason appearance since 1994.  Cutcliffe also must incorporate two new assistant coaches – Duke alums Re’quan Boyette and Scottie Montgomery – into the fold.

“We’re excited about spring practice, and we should be,” said Cutcliffe.

Duke will wrap up spring drills on Saturday, April 13 with the annual Spring Game which is slated for 4 p.m. at Wallace Wade Stadium.
