Duke Football hosts its spring game this Saturday, April 13th at 4:00 p.m. in Wallace Wade Stadium. Admission to the game is free! Following the team walk at 2:00 p.m., the gates to Wallace Wade Stadium will open at 2:30 p.m. A face painter will be on hand on the concourse of the stadium and concession stands on the East side of the stadium will be open for the game. In addition, Duke Stores will be selling game worn Duke football helmets and jerseys along with Duke apparel from their stand on the concourse of Wallace Wade Stadium. Duke football will award its spring awards, and head coach David Cutcliffe will address the fans at halftime.
Duke Ticket Sales representatives will be on hand to renew and sell season tickets for the upcoming season. Fans can work with them to select their seats for the 2013 season. Duke football will play seven home games this fall with North Carolina Central, Georgia Tech, the ACC’s newest member Pittsburgh, Troy, Navy, N.C. State and Miami all coming to Durham. All fans will sit in the lower levels of sections 6-9 for the spring game. With the game broadcast live on ESPN3, we are having fans sit on the TV side for the game. Parking for the game will be free of charge and available on a first come, first serve basis around the stadium in the Blue Zone and Whitford Drive Lots only.
For access to the Blue Zone, fans should enter at Wannamaker Drive located on Duke University Road between Towerview Drive and NC 751. For access to the Whitford Drive parking areas, fans can enter campus at the intersection of Science Drive and NC 751, Erwin Road/Towerview Drive or Duke University Road/Towerview Drive.
