DURHAM, N.C. - Sophomore goaltender Kyle Turri was named Ronald McDonald House Charities Duke Student-Athlete of the Week after turning in a stellar performance with a .657 save percentage and a 6.06 goals against average in a 2-0 week for the Blue Devils. Turri, in his third start of the year, made nine stops on 17 shots faced against No. 8 North Carolina. Turri also picked up three ground balls against the Tar Heels. Three days later, the West Islip, N.Y., native had a career-high 15 saves on 19 shots faced. He also had five ground balls in the victory over the Tigers. In his three starts this season, Turri is averaging 11 saves per game, owns a 6.67 goals against average, a .623 save percentage and a 3-0 record.
