DURHAM, N.C. – The Duke women’s tennis team and three team members were recently recognized for academic excellence by the Intercollegiate Tennis Association.
The 2013 ITA Scholar-Athletes list included senior Marianne Jodoin, junior Annie Mulholland, and recent graduate Mary Clayton.
Teams and student-athletes must meet a number of criteria to earn recognition from the association. A program must maintain a cumulative grade point average of 3.20 or better. Individuals are required to maintain a grade point average over 3.50, earn a varsity letter, and remain enrolled a minimum of two semesters to make the ITA list.
The Blue Devils were among five Atlantic Coast Conference schools to be named. Additional conference schools included Boston College, Clemson, Florida State, and the University of Miami.
