DURHAM, N.C. – Coming off claiming its third straight and 19th overall ACC Championship on April 20 in Greensboro, N.C., the third-ranked Duke women’s golf team is preparing for the NCAA Regional Selection show tonight from 6:00-6:30 p.m.  The show will be aired live on The Golf Channel.  

The Blue Devils will receive its 22nd consecutive bid to play in NCAA Regional action Monday and will travel to either Tallahassee, Fla., Stillwater, Okla. or Ce Elum, Wash. to compete.  The regional dates are May 8-10.  

Duke registered a 27-stroke victory at the ACC Championship as a team to won its fourth tournament of the season.  The four tournament wins is the most for the Blue Devils since the 2007-08 campaign when Duke won five events.  Sophomore Celine Boutier won her third consecutive individual title and first ACC Championship, while three other Blue Devils finished in the top five – Laetitia Beck (2), Sandy Choi (4) and Yu Liu (T5).

Head coach Dan Brooks has now guided the Blue Devils to 118 career wins and 18 of Duke’s 19 ACC titles.  Brooks has led the Blue Devils to five NCAA Championships (1999, 2002, 2005, 2006 and 2007) and has taken his squad to the NCAA Regionals every year since 1993.  

The top eight teams and top two individuals from each regional site will advance to the NCAA Championship in Tulsa, Okla., which will take place from May 20-23 at the Tulsa Golf and Country Club.
