OSHAWA, ONTARIO – The U.S. women’s national lacrosse team continued its strong start at the 2013 Federation of International Lacrosse (FIL) World Championship Saturday, dispatching Wales by a 19-2 score in pool play. Team USA continues to lead Pool A with a 2-0 record after two days of action at the World Cup.

Two former Blue Devils contributed to the win over Wales, with midfielder Sarah Bullard notching her second goal in as many games and netminder Megan Huether taking over in goal in the second half of the contest, allowing just one score.

The U.S. squad resumes World Cup pool play Sunday, July 14 at 3 p.m. EST against Australia, which sports a 1-1 ledger heading into the matchup.
