The league dominated in the Midwest Regional, as Oklahoma State men's team placed first, followed by the Oklahoma men's squad in second. The Big 12 men were paced by Kevin Schwab (Oklahoma) who tabbed a second-place showing. Seven of the top-10 spots went to league runners.
On the women's side, Iowa State claimed its second-straight regional title, while Oklahoma State placed second. Betsy Saina (Iowa State) came in second, completing the 6K in 20:53. Fellow Cyclone Meaghan Nelson followed in fourth, while Jessica Engel (Oklahoma), Dani Stack (Iowa State), Martina Tresch (Kansas State), Natalja Piliusina (Oklahoma State) and Morgan Casey (Iowa State) earned top-10 slots.
In the South Central Regional, the Texas men claimed the team title, while the Longhorn women tabbed a second place finish. Led by individual winner Henry Lelei, Texas A&M garnered the No. 2 spot in the men's race.
Four individual women tallied NCAA bids including Rose Tanui (Texas Tech), Martina Tresch (Kansas State), Jessica Engel (Oklahoma) and Natosha Rogers (Texas A&M).
