The Canisius College men's lacrosse team plays another in-state foe on Tuesday, playing at Hobart. The schools are set to meet in Geneva at 7 p.m.

• Senior Mike Moran had one of the finest days by a Canisius faceoff specialist on Saturday.
• Moran won 20-of-25 restarts on Friday (.800 winning percentage). His 20 faceoffs wins are the most in school history, surpassing the previous record of 18. He also collected a career-best 12 ground balls.
• Overall, Moran has won 39-of-64 faceoffs this season, good for 61.0 percent. The senior currently ranks first in the MAAC and 10th nationally in faceoff percentage.

• Sophomore midfielder Tim Edwards showed why he is one of the top threats in the MAAC with a career-best performance against Albany on Saturday.
• Edwards set career highs with seven points and five goals. He scored each of the team's last three goals, nearly leading the Griffs to a come-from-behind win.
• The sophomore now leads Canisius with 14 points, eight goals and six assists this season.

• Following his career-best performance on Saturday, Edwards now ranks among the best.
• The sophomore is currently tied for first in the MAAC with 3.50 points per game. He also places fifth with 2.00 goals per game and third with 1.50 assists per game.
• In addition, Edwards ranks eighth nationally among midfielders (and 43rd overall) with his 3.50 points per game.

• Senior Nick Carrasco waited his turn to get his first collegiate start and the senior did not disappoint when given his opportunity.
• Making his first collegiate start in Saturday's game against Albany, Carrasco made 16 saves for the Griffs.
• The 16 stops are the most by a Canisius netminder since Tom Kucharczak recorded 19 against Providence on April 29, 2006. The 16 saves are also the most by a Griff in his first career start since Kucharczak had 21 against Butler on March 1, 2003.

• In 13 all-time meetings between the two New York State schools, Hobart holds a 12-1 advantage against the Griffs.
• Last season, the Statesmen used a 5-0 fourth-quarter run to earn an 11-6 victory in Buffalo.
• The Griffs' lone win in the series came during the 2010 season when Canisius came away with an 8-7 overtime victory in Buffalo.

• Hobart has won each of its last two games (both at home) against Colgate and Michigan and is now 3-2 on the season.
• Alex Love leads Hobart with 21 points, 15 goals and six assists this season. Cam Stone ranks second on the team with 15 points, 10 goals and five assists.
• Peter Zonino has started all five games in goal with a 10.88 goals against average and .522 save percentage.
• Gryphin Kelly has led the efforts at the faceoff X, winning 41-of-87 restarts (.471 percentage).
