TOWSON, Md. - After splitting the team to compete in two seperate meets last weekend, the Tigers and Head Coach Roger Erricker will take part in the Loyola-Johns Hopkins Invitational in Baltimore Saturday beginning at 11 a.m.

Junior Katie Salke was a bigger winner at the Penn Invite over the weekend, taking home three first-place finishes for the Tigers. She finished first in the long jump, triple jump and 100-meter hurdles, becoming just the second Tiger in the past six years to win three events in the same meet.

Her performance of 17' 0.50" in the long jump was the only leap over 17 feet in the event, and it was also her first time competing in the event. Salke's hurdle time of 14.62 seconds was her fastest time this season.

Freshman Emily Wenger also posted her fastest time in the 400-meter hurdles, winning the event in 1:03.38 at the Penn Invite.

At the Goucher Classic Saturday, the Tigers scored 169.50 points to win the meet. Five Tigers won events for Towson, highlighted by graduate student Katie Ogden and senior Shannel Shivers.

Ogden set a Goucher Stadium record with her winning time of 17:53.27 in the 5,000-meter run.

Shivers won both the shot put (40' 6.0") and the discus (127' 8.0") throws for Towson.
