The VMI cross country programs will be back in action Saturday, as the teams travel to Louisville, Ky. to take part in this year's Southeast Regional Championships. Action will get underway at 10 a.m. with the men's 10K, while the women's 6K is scheduled for 11:15.
The Keydet men will be led by Noah Hagos, who was VMI's lone all-conference honoree at Oct. 29's Big South Championships. There, he finished ninth in a personal best of 24:57 over the 8K course, leading four Keydets in the top-20. Two of the others are scheduled to be in action this weekend, Andrey Dmitriev and Ian McGinn, while Felix Kitur is not currently on the start list.
On the women's side, VMI will be led by Big South Freshman of the Year Emily Dinning, who finished 15th at the conference meet to win the Keydets' third straight conference FOTY honor. Classmate Hannah Dickinson and junior Leah Schubel are among those also scheduled to run in the 6K event.
