Bearkat Athletics has achieved amazing success in recent years, highlighted by the 2013-14 Southland Commissioner’s Cup, NCAA Division I Football National Championship semi-finals in three out of four years, and Sam Houston's first ever NCAA Division I National Championship in Women's Bowling. Now is the time to capitalize on these accomplishments and set the stage for future opportunities.

Our goals require additional annual support to meet many existing needs, including fifth-year and summer scholarships, equipment upgrades, and specific sport-enrichment opportunities.

To that end, please join the Bearkat Champions Fund, sole fundraising arm of Bearkat Athletics, and help our student athletes become champions on and off the field of play by making a charitable contribution to Sam Houston State Athletics. Your support will help realize our ultimate goals of competing for championships and ensuring each student-athlete has the opportunity for a quality academic experience.

The Bearkat Champions Fund benefits all student-athletes by supporting activities that cultivate values and lessons gained through athletic participation, such as teamwork, leadership, sportsmanship, and ethical and responsible behavior both on and off the field of play.

Your contribution helps us accomplish our goal of defining the term “student-athlete” and leads to well-educated and well-rounded champions in life.

As a Bearkat Champion, you will earn priority towards NCAA Playoff/Championship/Premium Away Games (e.g. Texas Tech football game)/Battle of the Piney Woods tickets, season ticket seating location, premium parking, and invitation only special events. Your donation is tax deductible as allowed by law.

Sam Houston State University has won a record five Southland Conference Commissioner's Cups. After winning four Conference Championships throughout the 2013-2014 season (Women's Indoor and Outdoor Track & Field, Men's Golf, and Baseball), Sam Houston secured the cup for the second year in a row.
