Q: What is the most enjoyable part of running for you?

A: The competition. I'm a huge competitor and have been that way my whole life.

Q: What were your first impressions of Wilmington when you arrived and what do you think will be your lasting impressions once you graduate?

A: I really liked it. I liked the campus and the town and how nice the people were.

Q: If you could attend one major sporting event (Super Bowl, Masters, World Series, Final Four, Olympics) what would it be?

A: It would be the Olympics, probably because it has all of the greatest athletes across the world.

Q: What is your favorite movie?

A: I would have to say "Anchor Man."

Q: Before this season, you had four second place finishes and one third place finish. Can you describe the feeling of winning your first race?

A: It was cool. I hadn't won in cross country yet and it isn't really my primary sport, so that was really cool.

Q: What was your proudest sports moment in high school?

A: In my senior year at our 500 meter indoor track meet, I won and later found out I had the fastest time in the nation to that point.

Q: Do you have any traditions on road trips?

A: No, not really. We just all pile in and go, but we usually have a good time.

Q: What are your plans after college?

A: I would like to attend graduate school and continue to study psychology.

Q: Did you play any other sports growing up? If you could play another sport today what would it be?

A: I played baseball, basketball and soccer.  I played shortstop in baseball, guard in basketball and wherever they needed me in soccer. I would probably play either basketball or baseball
