Student-Athletes Celebrate This Weekend

        WILMINGTON, North Carolina - The UNCW athletics department will be well represented at Spring 2012 commencement ceremonies this weekend when 47 student-athletes don their cap and gown for the festivities.

        The women's soccer squad leads the way, sending eight graduates to the platform during UNCW's four separate graduation commemorations that take place Friday and Saturday at Trask Coliseum.

        In addition, the men's and women's track and field teams each have six Seahawks set to receive their diplomas, while the women's swimming and diving team will have five competitors celebrate the big day.
