WINTER PARK, Fla. (April 24, 2012) - Coming off a third-place finish at the Florida Blue Sunshine State Conference Championship, Rollins earned the four seed for the NCAA Division II South Region Tournament, it was announced Tuesday.

Rollins (13-10) will travel to Miami Shores to face a familiar foe in fifth-seed Saint Leo on Monday, April 30. The Tars and Lions met in the third place match of the rain soaked SSC Tournament on Sunday, with senior Kayli Ragsdale sealing up a 5-4 win for Rollins.

Top seed and defending national champion Barry serves as the host and will meet Tuskegee in the other side of the bracket. The two winners will then meet on Tuesday, May 1 in the championship.

Rollins' postseason bid is the 18th in school history, which is tied for third most in Division II history. The Tars are 21-17 all-time in NCAA postseason play. In 2010, the Tars beat Florida Tech 5-1 in the first round before falling to eventual national runner-up Lynn 5-0 in the second round.

The Tars are ranked 12th in the latest ITA Division II poll with the next ranking slated to come out May 2. Lisa Loft is the 46th-ranked singles player in the nation.
