Mocs Set to Host Third Annual Women's Football Clinic
University of Tennessee at Chattanooga football head coach Russ Huesman will host the third annual Women's Football Clinic, inspired by Memorial Health Care System, on Friday, July 27.  Doors open to the Stadium Club at Finley Stadium at 6:00 p.m. (E.D.T.) for preregistration and the social hour with the clinic beginning at 7:00 p.m.

Participants should get there early to meet the coaching staff and mingle with other Mocs fans prior to the start of the event. Coach Huesman and his staff will be on hand to provide an exciting evening of football and fun for all of the ladies in the Chattanooga area.

The formal part of the night kicks-off at 7:00 p.m. with on-field coaching and instruction; positions, plays and penalties demonstrations and the Mocs' home locker room tour.  Fans are encouraged to participate in as many, or as few, of the on-field activities as they are comfortable with.

Afterwards, there will be a discussion panel and Q&A session with the wives of the UTC staff, including Coach Huesman's wife, Amy.

The cost for admission is $40 through pre-registration or at the door. UTC students, faculty and staff can get in for $25 per person. All attendees will receive an official women's clinic T-Shirt and door prizes and awards will be given out throughout the evening.

Fans can register for the 2012 Women's Football Clinic here.  For more information on the 2012 Women's Football Clinic, please contact Mocs Athletics Director of Marketing and Promotions Erika Lerum at (423) 425-2257 or email at

All proceeds from the 2012 Women's Football Clinic will go to support the Huesman's Huddle program. Entering its fourth year, Huesman's Huddle is a very popular allotment of tickets donated by Mocs fans, alumni and supporters that are used to provide free admission to home football games to underprivileged fans.
