Leilanie Kim and Kaitlyn Oster, both of whom will be sophomores at the University of Idaho this fall, went different ways during the match play portions of their respective tournaments Wednesday.

Kim, competing at the USGA Women's National Public Links Tournament, was down by four holes before rallying only to drop her round-of-64 match 2 and 1 to Kelly Shon of Flushing, N.Y. Shon took a four-hole lead by the seventh hole only to have Kim scramble back and push the match through 17 holes before securing the victory.

At the 103rd Oregon Women's State Amateur, Oster was up by five holes before Sara Molyneaux of Vancouver, Wash., made a back-nine run to push the match to 17 holes before Oster secured the 2 and 1 victory. Oster continues play Thursday.
